About the artist

Hadna Abreu is a contemporary visual artist in the city of Manaus. His works are characterized by their richness of detail and sensitivity, whether in paintings or sculptures. Its exhibitions present a playful and interactive language, mixing images, words and sounds. She is currently curator and partner at Manart - Galeria Virtual.

About the work

The print produced by the gallery is inspired by the work 'Gratitude', by visual artist Hadna Abreu, in which she composed the exhibition "Linhas do Tempo - de volta pra casa" in 2020 in the city of Manaus/AM. 

The work illustrates an old traveling man, called Aviador, receiving clean socks from his friend Frederico. In this scene, the artist wants to teach gratitude in a simple and playful way. Inspired by the artist's childhood memory, where she found her socks clean and folded by her mother after coming home from school.
