The cultural space was conceived by one of the most creative cultural producers in the city of Manaus, João Fernandes , who has been contributing to the formation and artistic production of the city, believing in the potential of the creative economy , always looking for innovative alternatives that bring Manaus closer to the arts.

The Casarão de Ideias space stands out for its literary collection , rich in art and culture, with diverse subjects, including rare and contemporary editions, a true treasure to be explored in the company of a delicious cup of coffee.

The Casarão also has a beautiful cinema room, where the Cine Casarão takes place , for showing films that expand the view of the city through audiovisual, highlighting urgent and necessary agendas. The room still brings a sensory experience similar to the old cinemas in Manaus.

In addition, Casarão de Ideias offers a Scenic Room, Cine Café, Reading Room, Rooftop , Parklet , Bike Rack and Permanent Exhibitions.

The house has been present in the cultural scene of the city of Manaus for 11 years , and as we said before, always in search of innovation. 

News from the House:

1 - Recently, Casarão has been betting on its new collaborative space, the School of Social Ideas and Business , located at the same address. The rooms offer environments created to serve meetings, workshops , lectures and courses.

2 - “Instagrammable” spaces is the new trend at Casarão de Ideias , despite the fact that, everywhere, the house yields incredible photos! In the exhibition room, on the 2nd floor of the building, João has created installations with the aim of encouraging public interaction with history, poetry and the imaginary. In 2021, Casarão presented the Frida space , where there was a significant return from the public, with more than 20,000 visits.

Currently , another scenario in evidence is the reinterpretation of the main hall of Teatro Amazonas , in honor of its glorious 125 years . In addition, in this space you can purchase an exclusive puzzle with the image of the facade of the greatest icon in Manaus.

3 – Collaborative store , where you will find decorative objects, stationery, accessories and personalized clothing with creative phrases and cultural characters, such as Frida Kahlo.

4- Recently, Manart partnered with Casarão de Ideias , and the Most Creative Amazon Notebooks are available for purchase.
